About the book

Michael E. Starzak was a professor at the State University of New York at Binghamton when he and his family spent a year at the University of Nice in Nice, France learning new research techniques. The book documents how he, his wife Anndrea and his daughters Jocelyn and Alissa responded to new and unanticipated aspects of life in a new country.
